BUT GOD IS IN CONTROL! HE WILL ALWAYS PROTECT HIS OWN!!
Adventists: Crisis is upon us! What will happen to me??

FORENSIC FILES:
Investigators have heard that Adventists have been reading about, preaching about and talking about the last days and how the future predicts that very perilous times will come. They discovered that differences of opinion about these issues have caused agitation within the SDA Church. This agitation creates problems due to the fact that those who are concerned about the signs of the times are maligned, looked down upon, misjudged and opposed. The number one complaint about such concerned people is that they need to get right with God. Being concerned today is an assumed automatic indicator of spiritual weakness and depravity. They are constantly scolded and told to remember that “God is in control” of everything. Investigators found that the agenda now to attack and malign such people has become such an endeavor that it is safe to assume that most Adventists do not understand that God is in control and can handle such concerned people.

We know that Noah was saved from the flood, don't we? Well then look at this...
Here we are shown that Noah had brothers and sisters. They were God's people. What happened to those brothers and sisters after the flood? The bible says in Genesis 7:7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. By the time of the Flood some of those great men of antiquity known to live above 900 years were already dead, but Noah was 600 years old by the time of the Flood and was a young man. That means his siblings were also young people. They were God's people. WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM? They were destroyed! What about Genesis 19 when Lot went to members of his family to tell them to get out, for God's judgments were about to fall on Sodom and Gomorrah? Was Lot going to entreat heathen people in order to get his family out? Were they heathen? or were they God's people? THEY WERE GOD'S PEOPLE!
What happened to them, to God's people? Here is the difference especially for the last days that will make the difference between God's people SAVED, even those presently in Babylon, and God's people LOST!...
Adventists have long been taught that, according to the pattern in the rituals of the Ancient Jewish Sanctuary given as a pattern of events even for the future, while the Judgment is going on in heaven, they must specially "afflict their souls," fasting and praying earnestly to be purified of all evil so that the Lord can find them without spot or wrinkle and protected from the terrors of the last days. They were taught, according to the scriptures, that those who are found not doing this both ritually in the days of Ancient Israel when the Day of Atonement approached, and LITERALLY just before Jesus comes, will be CUT OFF from among his people! What does the term "cut off from among his people" mean? We already know that it means that person or persons will be put to death. But the very strongest presentation of what that expression means comes from the following passage from the book Early Writings, by Ellen G. White as she narrates what she saw of the Great Judgment day when the entire creation will witness the dealings of God with man:
Their attention was arrested to the glory of the beings who were once with them on earth. Many of those same saints were abused by them. The fullest meaning of the expression to be "cut off" means to stand at the last day and witness your former brethren in immortal youth and beauty... FROM AFAR! |
Forensic investigators therefore sought to find clues from the scriptures in order to find out which of these Adventists were telling the truth, or basically had the right idea. They turned to Jesus’ descriptions of His people in the last days first, by tapping into information found in the Parable of the Ten Virgins. In it, Jesus said in Matthew 25:
1
Then shall the kingdom of
heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to
meet the bridegroom.
2
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye
out to meet him.
7
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are
gone out.
9
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and
you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready
went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the
day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Investigators found that Jesus revealed two groups of people He regards as His people in this scripture. Five were wise and five were foolish. Since one group generally accuses the other of lacking in faith in the Lord when they show concern about the dangers of the last days, investigators had to assume that those concerned people are members of the foolish virgins. But then they found some disturbing evidence from the scriptures about the future just before Jesus comes. The prophet Jeremiah, describing the period just before Jesus breaks the clouds states concerning the actual saints of God:
6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. — Jer. 30:6, 7
Here they saw people that are very, very troubled. Knowing that the Parable of the Ten Virgins reveals two kinds of God’s people, investigators had to examine and figure out which of these two kinds of God’s people were being described here, and they then came to the startling conclusion that the ones involved are the wise virgins.
For investigators, this was very significant, for to be concerned about the terrors of the last days was too often regarded as a common sign that the concerned person has a lack of connection to the Lord, and therefore must be among the Foolish Virgins.
Investigators made forensic history when they realized that Jeremiah 30:7 indicates that the troubled individuals described are the ones who will actually be saved out of their troubles. This indicates that the scripture there is talking, not about the Foolish Virgins, but about the Wise ones.
Therefore, between the fundamental differences of opinion, shockingly, investigators found that the great concern of the Foolish Virgins was proven to be the right idea, and that the Wise Virgins should have realized this. Jeremiah 30:6, 7 is revealing that the Wise Virgins largely underestimated the magnitude of the last days and the warnings given both by scripture and by the Foolish Virgins about it. And thus investigators made forensic history.
THE WISE VIRGINS! HOW COULD THEY HAVE BEEN ASLEEP EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD THE OIL?
Their paleness on their faces then with their lips turning white shows they are more troubled now than the people who warned them that the terrors of the last days are much worse than believed and that it requires also physical action of dire emergency immediately with efforts to save the lost both in a spiritual and physical sense: training them to keep away from places that are marked for military attack; training them to avoid practices that will make them victims of bio terror attack, that would damage their health, etc.
They have already given the Loud Cry. And what is that Loud Cry? It is partly a cry that stems from much wasted time and much sheer ignorance of the day in which we live. They have forgotten that they had a responsibility both for studying out what is going on out in the world and alerting their neighbors about the dangers that are there. But when even individuals who are involved in treason in the Adventist Church do their work, these Adventists--even among the wise virgins--normally keep calm and do nothing. They merely quote to other Adventists that God is in control and that we should expect apostasy, trouble and terror in the future anyway. When they see other Adventists who want to stop what individuals in apostasy are doing, then they finally move to act, teaching them that “God is in control.” Jeremiah 30 therefore tells us who is right about this issue over how much attention the great impending crisis should get and how we should view and use those scriptures which tell us that God is in control and that He will protect His people. It shows that those who have stifled awareness for so long will be very, very sorry.
Well then what should we do about the impending terrors of the last days? The essential problem is that God's Church is horribly infiltrated with enemies. These enemies have been working to cause revolution in the Adventist Church in order to force it to accept programs that will link her to the other churches and abandon her special truths the Lord has given her in the future. Most can't see that these people have agendas and concerns also. There has been huge protest against these movements, but those who pushed these movements never decide to just fast and pray: they express their concerns against the opposition they receive and they physically move to make sure that their agenda carries through. These are the same people teaching others that God is in control and that this proves they are to do nothing, but just fast, pray, etc.
Most in the churches actually believe that the full solution to the problem is to fast and pray, study the bible and believe. They actually believe that they have nothing actually physical to do. It is clear that the ones who taught them this would never order their lives according to the concept.
In virtually every other time there was something to do. In the days of Queen Ester, Mordecai didn’t throw away the copy of the proclamation of Haman against the Jews (Esther 3:12-14). When Mordecai heard about the situation, the sacred record didn’t say that he threw away the proclamation and stood ready to know and understand that God was in control. The bible says that he rent his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes and went out into the midst of the city and cried with a loud and bitter cry (Esther 4:1). In short, according to what many are telling us today as they work to stifle awareness and the waking up of the people, Mordecai was in much greater need of God’s grace than people today who are agitated about a much worse time and a much worse danger; for anyone today who is agitated about the terrors about to explode upon the world are already judged as in very bad spiritual shape.
Noah was told about a flood. How is knowing that God is in control going to make a massive ark materialize out of thin air? Instead he engaged in a massive building project with help from others. He was a preacher of righteousness, but yet his accompanying actions sent a message to the on-looking world. We are told that every blow struck upon the ark was a witness to the people that something stupendous was going to happen.
Similar to the Passover in Moses’ day, so an exodus is planned for the future when God delivers his people from bondage in the most cataclysmic Passover. If then that Passover in history required that the people eat of it with their loins girded, their shoes on their feet and with staffs in hand, eating it in haste (Exodus 12:11), how is it that to form some sort of similarity to the commands of those days in history makes us qualified for the psychiatric patty wagon?
We are on the brink of the crisis of the ages. It is the Time of Jacob’s Trouble: trouble such as never was since there was a nation and even to that same time. The general peace on the faces of the Martyrs of Jesus that ruled the Christian age is now here suddenly missing. Paleness is on the faces of the Saints. Did they forget that God was in control? Shouldn’t they just get right with God? Why then is it called, “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble?” Remember the time when Jacob was in trouble and had to wrestle all night with a mysterious foe in the night (Gen. 32)?
Jacob was in terror that night mostly because his plight was caused by his own misdeeds. He feared his brother Esau would kill him and that he will be taken out of this life in his sins. Jacob did something wrong that caused his dilemma. How then does the lesson apply to God’s people in these last days? Why are the last days called, “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble?”
It shouldn’t be hard to understand the answer to this question when considering what is typically thought about anyone who tries to sound an alarm today. Our own lack of action is responsible for the terror we are about to experience. That is what brings the strange lesson of the Ten Virgins. Even the ones who had oil in their lamps were sound asleep. This is something I find hard to understand.
Still imbued with the Holy Spirit the saints witness the last terrors and their very lips turn white. Why are all faces turned to paleness? Did their own inaction have something to do with the terrors? Do they see men, women and children being brutally massacred? Are they hungry, injured or in pain as they watch? Do they wonder why even the American people are taken by surprise and are then being brutally butchered and slaughtered before their eyes—most begging for mercy? Some of the plainest warnings even given in the Spirit of Prophecy about the times and what we should be doing with our responsibility to warn the world is not understood by even the most ardent and honest among us. Even listening to Adventists relating how they believe America will persecute the saints and how everything will wind down is very disconcerting. They know so little about what is about to happen. They actually believe that our national leaders are working hard to keep America afloat, but will not be able to, but then will convert to monsters and then suddenly hate freedom and the Constitution and then imprison God's people because they will not keep Sunday. They actually believe the charades and facades given by the United States Federal Government as government officials argue with each with perplexity but clearly infer to us that the Constitution can no longer keep America safe. That’s the reason America falls: the Constitution is viewed as a threat to security or no longer sufficient to keep America safe. Over two hundred years of history proving the Constitution of the United States was divinely given and that it can protect us timelessly, can no longer convince them of this mistake.
They will be horrified in just the near future as if they had never been warned. It is then they will remember many Ellen G. White quotes and lament the time they wasted even working to silence those who more clearly understood the perils ahead. Then is when all will see that physical preparation is necessary also in order to give the outside world a clue as to what is about to happen as did Noah. We are responsible for their safety also. Them perishing will instill into us the results of our own neglect. Then will be a wonder and perplexity about how God can then save us with the fruits of our neglect all around us to the slaying of men, women and children whom Christ died for. We must understand what will happen so we can alert others on things they can do and things they must not do: on places where they must go even for safety and places where they must not go or live; and also to preserve the lives, as much as possible, of others who know not the Lord.
How then is it that the Foolish Virgins have the right idea and can actually teach the wise ones to take a second look at their use of that statement that, “God is in control,” and that “God will protect His own?” Maybe because being concerned about the terrors on top of us is not a sure indication that they are foolish virgins?
