[Our Reply:  No wonder Jesus had trouble with His mother Mary about His weird Sabbath observance?  No wonder the Disciples were cornered by the Pharisees?  Was it only Jesus being portrayed as having weird Sabbath observance?  Why then didn't Jesus say He was doing a NEW thing?  Why was He telling the Pharisees that He was observing the Sabbath LIKE IT ALWAYS WAS TO BE OBSERVED?]

Tom: Matt. 12:12 - "So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”

John 5:17 - But He answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.”
The Gospel Sabbath is not a law-based doctrine.

[The Sabbath was never merely law-based since the beginning either.  It was always part of the dictates of love.  And just like the guinea-pigging against Adventism going on and orchestrated by the Jesuits, so now we have different VERSIONS of Sabbath keeping completely created by men.]

Tom: Rather it is predicated on the New Covenant teachings of Jesus. Thus it is not the Sabbath of Moses that the church should follow every Seventh Day.

[Isn't it perplexing that Jesus never mentioned this and tell them about the changes He was making from what Moses taught?  He had perfect opportunity to tell the Pharisees and His Disciples all this.  Then the Disciples, from then on, should have provided that explanation.  Obviously, till the death of Christ and the accusations the Pharisees were struggling to lay against Him for His condemnation, accusing Him of blatant Sabbath breaking just couldn't work to secure His crucifixion.]

Tom: Although the Gospel Sabbath is still the Seventh-day, Jesus is opening the door for the New Covenant "man" to embrace a wide variety of behavioral options on the Sabbath, including the normative study of the word and the gathering to praise God and celebrate the Lord's Supper. But make no mistake about it, Jesus' injunction about "doing good" on the Sabbath has replaced the Old Covenant prohibition against work. But the SDA's have failed to figure this out as yet.

[Therefore washing your clothes on the Sabbath must be permitted because you are DOING GOOD.  The problem basically is, when you engaged in work, when exactly were you DOING BAD?

Jesus did say it is "lawful" to do well on the Sabbath, but he was talking about exceptional circumstances, including, lifting out your animal that is fallen into a pit.  Doing well does not mean, as Tom Norris is here saying, that all work is permitted.  All work you would do we assume is doing well, else, you would be guilty of Sabbath-breaking if you want to do a great deal of work robbing a bank?  All of this despotism is the logical progression that will come when people pump the idea of DIVERSITY, where Adventists can freely believe what they want about doctrine under a very wishy-washy leadership.  Ultimately those leadership figures will show their true despot colors because the agenda to debate and "question everything" within any organization is a consistent Jesuit tactic to allow them to infiltrate positions of trust, and then to move organizations completely off of their marching orders while the members beneath are canceling each other out in many conflicting theories.  Naturally there will be a pretense that this is not what is happening.]

Tom: John 5:16 - For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.

Jesus repudiated the Old Covenant Seventh-day Sabbath, even as he articulated the New Covenant "working Sabbath" for all.

[He forgot to say, "IN MY OPINION."  He should have said that BECAUSE JESUS DID NOT REPUDIATE THE "OLD COVENANT" SEVENTH-DAY SABBATH.  Notice that he didn't just say that Jesus repudiated the Sabbath, but said that He repudiated "THE SEVENTH-DAY SABBATH," showing that a drive to push people into keeping Sunday is well planned.  Jesus NEVER repudiated ANYTHING that God His Father created, let alone the Sabbath Jesus Himself made.  Even after taking the sacrificial system out of the way, Jesus never condemned it.  But it was necessary that it be removed because of differing circumstances when the Jews apostatized and were no longer a traveling band that went forth conquering and to conquer.]

Tom: Why?

[Often Jesuits would ask why their lies are true.  He is telling all that they have to accept his despotism.  Now you can understand why other Jesuits can stage wars for "GLOBAL DEMOCRACY," and can then ignore major votes (like in 2006) by the American people against the wars.]

Tom: Because God works on the Sabbath to keep the world running, so too should his children.

[You mean God didn't work and keep the world running in the Old Testament?  You mean He forgot to keep the world running on the Sabbath even during "Old Covenant" times?]

Tom: Thus Jesus is claiming to imitate and teach God's version of the Sabbath to the Church.

[WOW!  What version was it that dominated the established worship of God's people all throughout the ages prior?  What about Zacharias at the birth of Jesus:

Luke 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Did they know about the NEW VERSION Sabbath?  Would they have condemned Christ like the Pharisees did?]

Tom: And this holy, New Covenant version is obviously very different from what the SDA's teach.

[It ought to be!  The Pharisees were also very innovative in Christ's day.  Naturally God's people wouldn't know about Tom Norris's new version, and don't care to know.]

Tom: When the Sabbath was understood the least, Jesus came to explain it. Thus he correctly explained God's view of the Sabbath and REFORMED it for the Church.

[He put the word "REFORMED" in capitals because, like his treasonous colleagues, they preach to everyone that they all must have their eyes on Christ and even forget about studying prophecy or doctrine, they then keep their eyes on their victims and the church structures that service them and urge ecumenical union with all the churches.  THEIR EYES ARE ON DIFFERENT THINGS.  Their constant determined misbehavior pattern is to tinker with something that will later destroy them in the future.

Wonder what would happen if other Adventists want to tinker and yet differ with these Jesuits and come to different conclusions?  After all, they constantly tell us they love and demand disagreement, but we were attacked without stop because we differed with them.]

Tom: He didn't remove it, or change it to Sunday, he REFORMED it from a law based doctrine to one that rested on the Gospel.

[What then was the Sabbath before that time, AND WHO MADE IT THAT WAY?  We had long discussions with these Jesuits, and, while claiming we can all disagree, they constantly posted in that we didn't understand, "The Gospel."  Well we proved them wrong and showed that the Gospel well existed throughout the Old Testament:

1 Corinthians 10:10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

They always demanded that the Adventist Church forget about the book of Revelation, prophecy, or anything they always told us that, "separated the Adventist Church from the greater community of believers."  They therefore condemned themselves and proved they didn't know nor respect the Gospel.  The Gospel is solidified by EVERY WORD of Holy writ.  The book of Revelation tells us at its close that ANYONE who adds or takes away from the books of prophecy is lost and will receive of the plagues of judgment.]

Tom: Consequently, when Jesus teaches that it is lawful to "do good on the Sabbath," he has opened the door for a wide range of human behavior--including all manner of work.

[Dreamer, dreamer Jesuit.  The Sabbath doesn't actually teach that God's people must give up their jobs in order to get to heaven.  I didn't see those words anywhere either.  It is just a deceptive twisting of words in order to put contempt upon all opposition.  Where does the Old Testament teach that people must quit their jobs because the Sabbath says they must not work?  It doesn't actually say that, though it teaches that all work must be shunned on that day.  Again you can understand why, though the Pharisees accused Jesus of Sabbath-breaking, they then could not do that when He was apprehended to be crucified.  PEOPLE DIDN'T SEE JESUS WORKING ON THE SABBATH.  It was just on special occasions as shown in the scriptures where Jesus even told the man who couldn't walk to arise and take up his bed (Mark 2:9).  According to the Pharisees, it was wrong to heal a man on the Sabbath.

Just like the examples we have of ecumenical professors in colleges claiming to be Protestant, who then tell us "If the church is one, and if the Pope really isn't the Antichrist, what right do Protestants have to create a different church!  It's a scary thought for Protestants."  Words like these are being taught by Jesuit professors who pretend to be Protestants, telling the world that Protestants are scared because they are separate from Rome and are not all Catholics.  Are you scared that you're not Catholic, dear reader?  Neither is any Adventist "confounded" by the Jesuit "former Adventists" or current ones.  I have not all my life seen any Protestant writings showing great fear among them that they've separated from Rome for two centuries or might be wrong in performing the great death-row crime of calling her the Antichrist.  The more "hateful" people accuse many among them of being Jesuits is the more we witness these inserted lies that is presumed that everyone must accept.  Which Adventists are really terrified at Tom Norris's very vivid and despot imaginations?

Did Tom Norris confound us on the internet?  NO!  He may think that he did since his Jesuit colleagues kicked us off their forums in order to aid his refusal to answer our questions while forever telling us we must understand that people can differ with our conclusions.  They made it a point to never inform Tom Norris about that glorious principle.  If that is what he believes is victory then his own words supporting differing beliefs have been confounded, as they regularly kick off anyone who can defeat their lies.]

Tom: When the church correctly understands the Sabbath teachings of Jesus, the Sunday Sabbath will become exposed as great fraud and Gospel error, and so too this legalistic nonsense about having to quit ones job in order to "obey the Seventh-day Sabbath" to please God.

[DON'T YOU EVER BELIEVE THAT THIS MAN DOESN'T THINK SUNDAY IS THE ACTUAL SABBATH.  They would include such pretentious tirades to add faith to their lies.  Tom Norris actually believes that Sunday is the Sabbath.]

Tom: Jesus did not teach such a position--but the Pharisees did!

[Jesus did warn people who would work on the Sabbath.  If He did otherwise, HE WOULD EVEN HAVE BEEN OPPOSED BY THE PEOPLE.  Even the arguments in scripture against Christ on the accusation of Him breaking the Sabbath were not big enough to prove that He indeed repudiated the Sabbath.  This includes the references where His Disciples, who were with Him all that time and understood His habits, refused to bury His body when He died Friday in order to keep the Sabbath:

Luke 23:55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.
56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

They waited till the Sabbath was finished to finally put the body of Christ to rest.  If there were any who didn't understand what Tom Norris is trying to teach us here, it is the very people who were closest to Christ Himself.]

Tom: Thus the SDA's have the Old Covenant Sabbath of the Pharisees. Not the reformed Gospel Sabbath of Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath. 

[See the forceful tactics he is using to make God's people accept his vivid Jesuit imaginations?  Tom Norris knew it was coming.  WHO KNEW THAT PEOPLE WOULD FIND OUT THAT TOM NORRIS IS A JESUIT?  Who saw that coming?  The Jesuits were very surprised when it came.

It would be better if all "SDA's" read the man's wording here and understand that he is not an Adventist and never was.  You will save yourselves, God's Church, and hopefully, even this Jesuit himself much heartache and destruction in the near future.
