Question:  Does true religion have to be so complex with what we're getting into here?

Answer:  No, not at all.  The problem isn't that true religion is moving fast and furiously here.  The problem is that false religion is, while true religion is largely asleep.  Even with the issues we are presenting here which seem complex, a simple faith will bridge all of this and not allow you to be confused.  Enemies of truth know that the more confused their victims are is the more their treason will flourish.  That's why all these doubts and questions have been raised.

You can bridge these difficulties merely by a faithful, simple trust.  Do not search the world for "errors" in prophets to declare they are not prophets and ignore all the hard evidence showing that they are.  In Ellen White's case, the greatest way to know she is a true prophet is to persistently read her writings without any malice in your heart.  There are altogether too many propagandists on the internet who seem to read Ellen White's writings with the thought they can't stand her because she was "hit in the BRAIN with a rock" when she was a little girl.  They actually used these words in their elaborate websites showing that they have no intention to be unbiased, and usually claiming they are the ultimate definers of what is hate, they obviously cannot see that all through history, and even during the Inquisitions, they were the unrivaled examples of it.  All over the internet there are likely 20 elaborate websites attacking Ellen White with a strange obsession despite how insignificant her attackers claim she is, compared to websites defending her.  They then tell us how insignificant she is, but belie the claim with the voracious persistence and obsession they have in condemning her.  The problem is that she is a great and threatening bulwark against ecumenism to build that great big One World Church that will complement the One World Government that will put the whole world soon in the greatest horror, bloodshed and tyranny.

Just like with Moses, no one will be judged by the "research" they make to find errors in prophets.  They will be judged by the prophets' fruits.  Whatsoever prophets did that no one else could will weigh on the records against their attackers for why their so-called "research" were limited to malice.  EVERY attacker against Ellen White we have seen so far is ecumenical, meaning they were Catholic (Jesuits).

These issues are just as hard as you want to make them, and also depend on your desires.  If you want the truth instead of wanting to follow your own way, a simple trust will make these seemingly hard issues simple.  At times you may have to say you will have to wait till eternity to see why certain issues seem perplexing about Ellen White or any other prophet.  It's best you do that than delve into the writings of "researchers" who hammer against Ellen White so persistently and then tell us we must only concentrate on Christ and must not be critical of anyone.

Don't desire to stand out.  Just desire to be easy-going, standing on those bulwarks of our faith that stood the test.  Put your own natural preferences last.  Consider life as a journey that takes place only one time.  Whatever must be done, must be done right.  Here are some points to consider that will put you in the right mind and frame of thought to not be overtaken by all these perplexities.

Look at religion, prophets and eternity as something definite that's not molded by what you think about them.  The bible says there will be a Judgment.  Our current court systems are God-ordained copies or weak illustrations of the actual Judgment God will make upon mankind.  If you don't go into our courts carelessly assuming that your positions or beliefs about contentious issues are correct, then you had better have the sense to know you cannot allow yourselves to go naked to face God in His judgment under any assumption that your life is prepared and your positions correct.  There are many different religions out there, but all of them will face one Judgment.  No one is to just choose religion based on any assumption that it must be true or correct and that you will not suffer for your choice in the Judgment.  That is one reason why the Lord commands us to win souls.  As we do that we will encounter people with different ideas about religion.  The Lord purposes that there would be healthy interaction so that all ideas may be challenged and our biblical skills can then be sharpened.  The more we can show biblically that our ideas are correct is the more we would be able to tell that our thinking will match those heavenly beings who will participate in the Judgment who will judge us.

--Greatly restrict any desire you may have for wanting to LEAD anything or to conjure up some new idea that you can sign your name to.  Nothing we present here is really original except in the way information has been oriented.  We ourselves refute the idea that we are leading anything or are presenting our ideas to lead people anywhere but back to the true service and fold.  Our websites are not what we call "ministries."  We consider them merely as information or "bulletin boards."

You should consider the tremendous RESPONSIBILITY for leading out in anything.  To us it is something which should be more dreaded than anything else.  Just like translating bibles while many translations already exist, or translating bibles AT ALL.  Just like those who translated in old times compared to those in our modern age, a duty like that is dreadful to us as it was in ancient times.  The responsibility that would be upon us as millions will even be memorizing the passages we translate makes me want to faint.  Translating scripture is much more a dreaded work than leading any movement at this late hour, but leading to us is still frought with such responsibility that we have no unction to do that.  All we need to do is to disperse useful information created to clear up confusion.

--Never love debate.  We debate often, but don't love it.  Debating against the most fundamentally dangerous and saturated people all over the globe is not something to be proud of.  We don't do it for our own gratification.  We love peace and even repose.  We would rather not engage in any kind of contention.  But we're seeing the most sacred bulwarks being overturned, and, in interview, the people who are doing this are, at times, literally telling us that the American people and the Adventist people are STUPID for letting them do this so easily.  Our doing it, to us, more reflects on the neglect of Adventists for doing their own duty.  Our only calling, as far as we are concerned, is the necessity for us to reveal what we know and clear up perplexities that appear to be baffling everyone BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WILL DO IT.

--Be teachable, realizing that in debates, your object is not even to get your point across, but to save the person you are engaged with.  The person you are debating with doesn't owe you anything to prove your ideas correct.  You owe him explanations of what you believe so that he can see, love and believe the truth.  When we meet the Jesuits, then we debate with them for the benefit of the others who are listening, for the Jesuits are the best propagandists, and are merely there to confuse their other victims.

--Be guarded against following those who are pointing out the "mistakes" of God's prophets.  They will give you volumes of ideas against that prophet and will persistently swim around and ignore the masterful evidences proving that prophet to be true.

NOTE:  We have contention here.  Our belief impels us to support the positions taken by God's prophet: Ellen G. White.  There is a different position taken by people who support the praise and worship services.  Our position does not impel us to talk about the so-called mistakes of Ellen White.  The positions of those we can show are in error and apostasy would make it necessary for them to pull down God's prophet.  We're trying to show that they themselves can be pulled down: their authority can be diluted.  Their lives, words and everything else can be examined.  But then some would say why?  They don't claim to be prophets.  Actually they don't verbally claim to be prophets, but by their actions they claim to be more than prophets.

Question: Can any of you remember when any spiritual leader or anyone in the Adventist Church ever used the expression "worship styles" before around 1986?  It may have been used in other churches before a decision was made somewhere that we had to FOLLOW.  But no prophet God ever had actually concocted or invented forms of worship to force on God's people.  The office many of our leaders have taken is actually far more than a claim to be a prophet.  Can we then examine their lives and "mistakes" to see if we can listen to them?

We have not seen one of them on the internet who attack Ellen White, just leave things as they are.  That is just the first step.  After they attack Ellen White, THEN THEY RAISE THEIR OWN AUTHORITY AND BEGIN TO GIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO THEIR VICTIMS.  In these instructions THEY ARE ALWAYS ECUMENICAL!  Ecumenism is what has been the exclusive papal principle of building a One World Church.  We have shown consistently that those who are ecumenical secretly and openly want all non-Catholics to be persecuted and killed.  Why then are the signs showing that so many in authority in the Adventist Church are ecumenical?  Do you remember we often used the bold death threats against all non-Catholics as a litmus test, and urged the propagandists on the internet to write their thoughts on the public bulletin board systems, and they could not?  We asked them to specifically comment about the hatred in those threats on the public internet boards.  Do we need to do the same with ecumenical Adventist leaders? with members of Promise Keepers or any other ecumenical organization?  Protestants and Protestant Churches are now accepting ecumenism BECAUSE THEY ARE INFILTRATED FROM THE TOP DOWN.

We don't talk about "mistakes" Ellen White might have made.  We would rather that people not become enveloped in such issues.  Why?

As we have mentioned before, to do that WOULD MEAN WE WOULD HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE MISTAKES OF BIBLICAL PROPHETS ALSO!  We believe that if a person has a correct agenda or endeavor, he would not need to question either the lives or work of any of God's prophets.  We don't need to pull down Ellen White for what we want in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Right while propagandists on the internet are attacking Ellen White, we're showing that ALL PROPHETS HAVE BASICALLY THE SAME PROBLEMS.  It is not just that they're human, but just in the same way Christ said, "A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country," so it is that even biblical prophets are usually not regarded as very special in their own day they lived or by members of the same religion.  That was because, at times, they proved that they were human.

It was not easy, even after evidence after evidence to even convince the Children of Israel that Moses was a true prophet.  That was likely because at times he showed weaknesses that were not recorded for us living in this day and age.  But still, the evidence given that he was a true prophet, was indeed enough to make the people suffer tragically for doubting.  That includes the incident of the fiery serpents (Numbers 21:6; they were not actually made of fire, but the violent and painful reaction to their venoms caused them to be referred to as "fiery") where Moses actually built an image of a serpent and told the people to look upon it, and if they did, they would be healed.  It was clear that not everyone believed that word, and so they died.  Differences of opinions did not count.  If you claimed to be different or diverse and then claimed through your judgment that Moses was not a true prophet, you paid heavily for it.  Just like back then, God holds you accountable if you look past all the evidences proving a person is His spokesperson, to do "research" on the so-called errors and mistakes they may have made, to then spend so much time attacking someone you already claim is "insane" and "struck in the BRAIN with a rock," to then obsess so much to the ignoring of everyone else who may have been so struck in the BRAIN, and then give instructions to what people must think after you imagine you have exposed, to then push ecumenism.

At those times it was always shown that they were human and did make some mistakes.  Because we are not in their day, the bible or their written works generally do not carry the mistakes that they made.  So the problem now is that since propagandists all over the internet demanding revolution and leaders all over the Seventh-day Adventist Church demanding the same are tearing down God's prophet, we have to reveal things about other prophets--biblical prophets--who wrote works that even made it into the biblical canon.  You may say, even by the wording of the article we have shown, the author is not tearing down God's prophet.  But yet we had to face the same thing even with some who claimed to be in favor with her on the internet.  They repeated the same doubts.  They did it mechanically at special times as if they were ordered to.

It has never been historically correct to be necessary to make such remarks before the Adventist people.  The same is true about any of the other biblical prophets who were responsible for some of the books of the bible.  There is obviously a need to do this now.  We're trying to show that the more Ellen White's predictions of last day events are coming true, is supposed to be the LESS that such remarks about her shortcomings and even possible misconceptions accepted widely in her day should be made.

This is not something we want even non-believers to see.  It's not important, because THE FRUITS OF GOD'S PROPHETS ALWAYS SHOW THEY WERE DIVINELY CHOSEN.  We are therefore reluctant to do this, but may be pressed to because of apostates.  Our repertoire for this, therefore, is quite limited at the moment.  We don't engage in seeking to find the weaknesses of God's prophets.  That was never our office.  We will also have to update the information we have as it becomes known.  But here is our first attempt:

Those pushing revolution love to quote Deuteronomy 18:22 which says:

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

They then go into what they believe Ellen White predicted that did not come to pass.  We're trying to show that different circumstances can modify scripture.  For example, after claiming that whatsoever a prophet prophesies, if it doesn't come to pass then God has not spoken through that person, Jonah prophesied that in 40 days Nineveh would be overthrown.  Guess what.  It didn't happen.  We all know why it didn't happen.  Nineveh repented.  Here is a modifying piece of scripture to the statement about prophets prophesying things that don't come to pass.

Jeremiah 18:7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation  [He speaks through His prophets], and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;
8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

That same thing can happen in different cases.  Prophets can predict good and it not happen because a circumstance has changed.  They can also prophecy evil and that not come because of circumstances that change.

Remember Dr. Bart D. Ehrman?  Remember he was the College professor who works for the Teaching Company who revealed that prophets at times literally copy from each other word for word?  Remember we used him in defense of Ellen White copying the works of others?  (It was not a crime in Ellen White's day to copy from the works of others--referred to today as PLAGIARISM.  The original authors of works at that time were usually rather flattered if someone copied from their works).  He mentions that one of the highlights of his service in teaching is trying to get people to understand the true nature of inspiration.  He doesn't claim to be a theologian.  He claims to be an historian.  In the process, he points out discrepancies and serious weaknesses of biblical prophets.  He doesn't do that maliciously.  He just points out that inspiration is quite different from what most people in our day assume.  Yet as we listen to what he is saying, we realize that even with what he is bringing out, if one was to understand all the circumstances surrounding the issue, the discrepancies are not really serious at all.

One particular issue he brought out was Paul's belief that Christ was going to come and establish His eternal kingdom in his day.  The Apostle Paul literally claimed that he would be in the number of the saints who will be alive on the earth when Jesus comes.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [or go before] them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

In another lecture dealing with the biblical canon, Dr. Erhman actually claimed that this word of Paul (quite clear did not happen: he is and has been dead a long time) actually caused problems in his day.  He revealed that a great deal of time had passed, and people who believed his word and expected to also be alive when Christ came, died.  He claimed that this was literally tugging against his authority in the minds of many who trusted him.  He pointed out that a number of those who trusted Paul, LITERALLY QUIT THEIR JOBS expecting that Christ would come.  He then said that if they quit their jobs, how then did they support themselves?  He reported that these particular people were living off of others.

He said that Paul had to address this issue and later write that the Day of the Lord will tarry a bit.  He wrote in 2 Thessalonians that the Day of the Lord will not come except the Man of Sin reveal himself first:

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

We're trying to show that even this doesn't mean Paul is not a prophet or has made a mistake.  Paul likely even believed that the Man of Sin would reveal himself in Paul's day.  But we already made known on the Seventh-dayAdventism website within the "Adventist Perplexities series" that one particular error always tolerated by God among His prophets is their belief of His imminent Second Coming.  Just like your great-great grandmother (if she was a Christian) always said that Christ was coming SOON and was coming in her day did not make her a liar, so not a single prophet lost his office or reliability for prophesying such things.  The only exception is when specific dating is involved.  Another major issue where earlier prophets were deficient was in warning about the evils of polygamy.  The practice itself may well have come from what had to be done since the human race was started by the two of our first parents: Adam and Eve.  As they reproduced and multiplied, naturally brothers had to marry sisters.  This had to go on and on till generations of people likely didn't know where to stop.

Here then is a similar situation as that given above of Paul where Ellen White had some instruction for the people:

Get out of the cities as soon as possible and purchase a little piece of land where you can have a garden, where your children can watch the flowers growing and learn from them lessons of simplicity and purity.--Selected Messages, Vol. 2, 356 (1903). {LDE 95.1}

It so turned out that Ellen White had to make another message afterward...

Let there be nothing done in a disorderly manner, that there shall be a great loss or sacrifice made upon property because of ardent, impulsive speeches which stir up an enthusiasm which is not after the order of God, that a victory that was essential to be gained, shall, for lack of level-headed moderation and proper contemplation and sound principles and purposes, be turned into a defeat.--Selected Messages, Vol. 2, 362, 363 (1893).

A note was placed in the book Last Day Events, showing why Ellen White added this particular remark.  It said:

[WRITTEN DECEMBER 22, 1893, IN REPLY TO A LETTER FROM A LEADING WORKER IN BATTLE CREEK WHO HAD INFORMED MRS. WHITE THAT, IN RESPONSE TO HER URGING, "BETWEEN ONE AND TWO HUNDRED" WERE PREPARING TO LEAVE THE CITY FOR A RURAL LOCATION "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE." SEE SELECTED MESSAGES, BOOK 2, PP. 361-364.] {LDE 120.4}

The argument here is that Ellen White, even in the wording, made a mistake or wrote ill-advisedly according to the situation for how people would perceive her words.  The "soon as possible" still stands as it stands for us today.  But within those words is not the idea for a crazy rush into the unknown, but order and planning.  From this, and even the need Ellen White saw for a corrective statement, people would assume that she made a mistake.  Some will literally say this.  Is the mistake with her? or with the people who conceived that the statement meant to carry a napsak and then go hitchhiking?  The thing is, Ellen White, even being a prophet, didn't know that people would take those words and go wild with them.

Now take a look at this example.  First let us remind you again about the scripture used to prove that Ellen White is not a true prophet:

Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

See what it says?  Now, from the words you see there, does it say that someone who prophesies and then the event doesn't come, was never a prophet before?  Does it then say that someone who prophesies incorrectly means that person will never be a prophet and prophesy truthfully in the future?  Obviously the answer is no.  But what Ellen White attackers are saying is that even if a single prediction doesn't come to pass (or appears not to have) that is proof the person is not a prophet and can never be.

PROGRESSIVE REVELATION!...

Well then let's look at a principle surrounding prophets called, "Progressive Revelation."  What this principle says is that prophets are human and do not know everything about everything at every time.  This means that they can have certain misconceptions and ideas prevalent even within the day and age with which they lived that is not correct, but that, if it is important enough, God will reveal Himself to them and correct them about those misconceptions later or in His own time.  Some people even have the idea that prophets cannot even get mathematical equations wrong in school.  Some people have the idea that because Jesus is perfect, that means He never even got a math problem wrong.  This is incorrect.  The Lord Jesus is even now omnipotent and omniscient.  But when He came to this earth, He laid aside all of that and accepted the human form.  The perfection ascribed to Him means perfection of character without the slightest taint of sin.  It does not mean physical and mental perfection so He was strong as Samson, His mind was like a computer, or His flesh couldn't be damaged, etc.

It just so happened that in Ellen White's day of the grossest slavery in the United States, many had the common misconception that Black people were part human and part animal.  They believed that somehow a human being mated with an animal and that produced a Black person while they were in Africa and then brought here.  Ellen White actually wrote a book where within it these misconceptions were voiced.  She therefore believed in an incorrect historical event.

What happened was that the Lord appeared to her and revealed to her some very startling things later on after a piece of her writing voiced that she believed this:

While at St. Louis a year ago, as I knelt in prayer, these words were presented to me as if written with a pen of fire: "All ye are brethren." The Spirit of God rested upon me in a wonderful manner, and matters were opened to me in regard to the church at St. Louis and in other places. The spirit and words of some in regard to members of the church were an offense to God. They were closing the door of their hearts to Jesus. Among those in St. Louis who believe the truth there are colored people who are true and faithful, precious in the sight of the God of heaven, and they should have just as much respect as any of God's children. Those who have spoken harshly to them or have despised them have despised the purchase of the blood of Christ, and they need the transforming grace of Christ in their own hearts, that they may have the pitying tenderness of Jesus toward those who love God with all the fervor of which they themselves are capable. The color of the skin does not determine character in the heavenly courts. -- The Southern Work, page 11.

It so happened that at the time this was written (1898-1901) anyone who voiced words like these claiming that black people were on an equality with white people even in such northern cities as New York were tarred and feathered on the spot.  But, since Ellen White earlier believed the common misconceptions of her day for a time before, and expressed belief of the event that black people were humans amalgamated with animals, and they were placed in her writings before, does that mean she is not a prophet and never can be?

Progressive revelation therefore mandates that not all truth is known or comprehended even by prophets.  In the process, in their day, they may write things that are not accurate.  We more live in Ellen White's day and can therefore see there were some misconceptions.  Those who hate her will definitely give us great service in preserving her mistakes, and also in teaching everyone not to be critical.  We don't live in the days of the biblical prophets so we can more clearly see errors they have made.

We now bid you to remember this point they claimed was proof Ellen White was a false prophet.  She wrote the following believing Christ was coming very soon in her lifetime:

I saw that some of those present would be food for worms, some subjects for the seven last plagues, and some would be translated to heaven at the second coming of Christ, without seeing death. -- Spiritual Gifts, Vol 2 (1860) pg. 208

Watch what happens now where Christ makes sure He forces accountability against all these "researchers" for false religion who attack Ellen White.  In many websites "researchers" claimed this was proof incontrovertible that Ellen White was a false prophet.  Let's therefore look now on the words of Who also must be one:  Matthew 16:

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Here we see that the Lord Himself predicted an event to take place IN THE SAME WAY ELLEN WHITE DID that made enemies of the truth attack her, call her false and take away the dignity of her office and calling.  Is Jesus a false prophet?  The bible doesn't say so???

Another issue, of course, is even false prophets (or true ones who are bad...  Balaam) who prophecy correctly.  Remember also the story of 1 Kings 13.  In that story a false prophet spoke words against a true one who disobeyed the command of God, and that prophecy from the false prophet came true and killed the true prophet.
