NEW AND OLD, DEAD AND ALIVE!
The outward energy used in worship, even to jumping is no indication at all at the spiritual power of the person. As a matter of fact, scriptures that tell us how David danced, were not permission for us to do the same. It was not talking about divine worship in church, where such motions, if used in the Ancient Jewish Sanctuary, would even jeopardize the safety of the furniture and ornaments in that building. It was talking about a parade-like situation just after a major victory in war out in the open air. It was not talking about the solemn services in God's house.
The scriptures show nowhere where the covering Cherubs above the mercy seat in the heavenly sanctuary--in the Lord's direct presence--have to jump and kick and shout in order to praise the Lord and avoid being "DEAD." It doesn't show that John Wesley and all the Reformers are dead and lacking in spiritual life because they had no desire to create music that made their bodies gyrate in worship or create drama skits in church. If we are "dead," then so are all the other saints. Let us be dead, as so many secretly purpose in their hearts today who are pushing revolution that is already dominating all churches and are determined it must DOMINATE all.

Using the idea of advancement and progress in knowledge to urge illegal revolution in worship is a soul-destroying enterprise. It is this same issue being used to create a New World Order, where they are telling us that SECURITY demands we make UPDATES in our Anti-terrorism policies. They then tell us we must use concentration camp tactics that were used in the most brutal regimes of history to keep America safe.
Reply: You mean we must stop being judgmental. Who are you calling dead? This is the same message brought to us by the fairy-tailed, "PROGRESSIVE ADVENTISTS." They claimed to have NEW ideas, but, on proper examination, it is clear that all their ideas are OLD. They believe much of what the other churches already always believed, including the idea that Ellen White is not reliable (therefore their judgments are), that there will be no National Sunday Law in the future, and that the Seventh-day Adventist Church does not have the absolute truth.
How new is the desire to incorporate popular music or Pentecostal "worship styles" into the sacred worship of God? How new are the movements and ideas of Pentecostalism? Pentecostalism was even around during the 19th century, and the major denominations virtually unanimously condemned it. Why are people who are telling us we must UPDATE and be in accordance with the times accepting components of this movement in worship?
We remembered when we were even growing up in the 1970s and we rallied to make the songs of the church resemble the songs of the Jackson Five. We know the opposition we received from God's leaders and even our parents. Are we going to be honored now for this--for being ahead of our time? NO! There is no mention of us because the truth about this issue will be more brought to light.
Are we just old-timers? Dead legalists? Are people being critical of us and calling us these names? What would make them so judgmental?
If even the property of the Seventh-day Adventist Church was mostly built and sustained by people you judge so unkindly, then YES WE CAN EXPECT TO FINISH THE WORK FROM THE 19th CENTURY--even from the time of Christ! We have that right. Are you here to teach us? or to demonstrate to us how you can do this using your own resources? If you want to finish God's work by providing this modern century to them, then go ahead. But where are you going to get the property, the churches, the representation that was not built by you guys? Those who want to present the Gospel from the 19th century dominated this church ever since. You can build your own and do the Lord's work without causing trouble and blaming that trouble on God's true people who will oppose your efforts. Why would you want to do anything else? You didn't want to offend people. Why CHANGE now?
You have corrupted even the property that was not yours. You remembered to tell us about DIVERSITY and VARIETY. Now everywhere we cannot escape from your nonsense! You are winning in stealing property you should not have. Shouldn't there be some place that differs with your ideas? Shouldn't there be some place that has variety? Are you taking over the Seventh-day Adventist Church while crying out how you don't get any ear nor billing for your ideas: After you already told us that disagreement is a blessing and a sign of our freedom?
CHANGE! CHANGE! Change your desire to offend people on their own property and legacy. Stop telling people you don't want to offend them when it was always your religion to do exactly that. Trust in God. He will give you the property and representation you need if your movement is of God. How do we know? Because you praise Him so strongly! How can He ignore you?
Did the world in the 21st century show you that with the advance of ages they are getting smarter? Did the Word of God tell you that the world will become smarter and wiser as it sheds the horse and buggy and moves to the F16 fighter jet? Did the world show you how love must reign everywhere and yet the most ridiculous wars pass by the modern nose but the Alzheimer's generation you are here to transform can see it?
WHAT ABOUT CRISIS! If the Lord is so much more evidently with you, how come you feel no compunction to warn the world about the approaching holocaust even in America? How come you know so little about it when you are commanded through inspiration and common sense, to study out what is happening and warn your brothers?
BECAUSE IT IS NOT POPULAR!
JESUS IS LOVE! Why then do you hate so many people to be popular with them?
Your statements are always about popularity. "We must give the people what is popular, or they would not come, they will not agree to be members." So you're not going to warn them about the holocaust that comes with the advancing National Sunday Law? You don't want to LOOK WEIRD! You want to attract as many as possible like a group of women who do this to earn a living looking for quantity customers instead of quality friends. You are mostly looking for numbers, but don't train them for a horrible time yet into the near future to warn others and to train them to survive and warn others.
Then crisis comes. It's time to run. OH NO! NO ELECTRICITY! You mean I can't run my amplifiers anymore? I can't run my electric guitars? I can't run my mp3 players for very long? No more props to hold my drama exhibitions on the podium of the divine service? WITHDRAWAL SYNDROME! WITHDRAWAL SYNDROME! I DON'T FEEL GOOD ANYMORE! I CAN'T JUMP, SOAR NOR FLY IN PRAISE TO GOD!
BUT GOOD NEWS! There are people around who are able to keep their guitars, their amplifiers and their mp3 players. They think just like us! I can join them IF I KEEP SUNDAY! It's the people who believed the same we did who were not members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church! HEY, THEY'RE PRAISING GOD REALLY HARD TOO! WE FOLLOWED THEM! Surely they can't be wrong! God MUST honor them! They work so HARD to the praise of His name! They put all their time and hard effort into it. God can't possibly ignore them! He did not bring them this far just to leave them! Let's just keep Sunday!
The "old fogies" are still singing their hymns and praises to the Lord. Yes, it sounds nothing compared to what you have been playing, but they don't care. They already engaged in training for the crisis also with survival and medical missionary skills. The crisis has come and they are proving their worth. You are still singing, still jumping up and down, but NOT still keeping the Sabbath, not repenting of your sins.

Reply: What then is being spiritually dead as you have so accused us? You seem to know!
The Lord then comes and finds some people who have warned the world about the approaching holocaust and clearly confessed their sins and proclaimed repentance everywhere. They worked daily to push aside all confusion and call sin by it's right name. THEY WOUND UP BEING EXTREMELY UNPOPULAR. So much so, they became PUBLIC ENEMIES NUMBER ONE! The real characters of those who incorporated popularity with the message then becomes apparent. They are looked upon by the hosts of heaven as the worst of murderers as the future has revealed. THEY RECANTED from the Three Angels' Messages divinely given to them and therefore, at the beckoning of the great terror from the powers that be, opposed, exposed and persecuted God's people faithful to His Word, even unto death. They then received the guilt of the blood of the Saints: THEY RECEIVED THE MARK OF THE BEAST!
