About Sealed Discussions:

WARNING! The rest of this page below contains information that is sealed off from the Truth of Adventism Defended Forum.  This means that no discussion is to be brought against the points proven in most of the links below.  Those with this designation will be clearly marked. Any subscriber who brings up the points which have been disproven in the following list of discussions will be likely regarded as an offender and can be unsubscribed.  We had to do this for we discovered that we were dialoguing with unscrupulous members of the papal army. Even after conclusive points were presented to the point where they dared not answer them, they continued to present their redundant points and merely mocked our questions away or laughed at them. We therefore have to institute this principle so as not the waste the time of the people.

The only way discussion upon these points can be brought up again is if the argument(s) are wholly unique in character.  All challenges must be issued by applying directly to the owner of the forum, Mr. Ted McMillan:

Someone has stated that the writings of Paul dictate that we now live at a time when a Christian can choose any day for worship. For some reason they are all choosing Sunday, and even those who tell us this gravitate to Sunday.

This is more than incorrect for more just these two listed reasons. The first is Matthew 5:17-19. I have not seen one person who attacks the Ten Commandments who can answer Matthew 5. These therefore usually evade these clear red words in order to exalt the words of Paul. Matt. 5:17-19 says:

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

The language is clear, plain, unmistakable! What can overpower these words? The misconstrued words of Paul in the hands of the unstable. Yet the next point is a huge one which merely reveals the kinds of deceptions struggling to gain the mastery in order to destroy our church and the truth. It is the true understanding of the covenants.

The Gospel has been given to mankind in the form of an Everlasting Covenant. This means that God made an agreement with man at great sacrifice to Himself. In exchange for the benefit of the Sacrifice in salvation, man has to do EXACTLY what God tells him to do. God showed man what to do in written form. God provided that man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. That is the Gospel. It is complete and it is a total focusing around the Covenant or agreement.

There is however something very interesting about the Everlasting Covenant which will display the blasphemy that is being constantly pushed upon us by those attacking the law. That interesting aspect is that the covenant is also equated with an inheritance or a will, and the rules for all wills are fascinating. The specific understanding of the Everlasting Covenant is described by the following scripture passage:

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. . . . And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. – Hebrews 9:12, 14-17.

To add to this, Gal. 3:15 gives us more light on what we already know about Last Wills and Testaments. It says:

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. – Gal. 3:15

When a will is made, it is confirmed after the person making it dies. Since the Everlasting Covenant is like a will, it can be changed ONLY while the testator lives. If you have an inheritance, don’t anger the testator or the one making the will. He can scratch you out of its benefits. He can change the will any which way he wants while he is alive. If you can hold on long enough till he is dead, then you can curse his grave and the will cannot be changed. You keep all the benefits of it. That is how the Everlasting Covenant works.

It is therefore interesting that just at the death of Christ and predicted before, the veil of the temple at Jerusalem was rent in twain, signifying the end of the ceremonial ritual law given through Moses. Before that time, Christ instituted the ordinance of humility and the communion service. We therefore see that these things are a part of the New Covenant. Anything to be considered today MUST be mentioned clearly beforehand or else it is not a part of the New Covenant. The problem now is to answer the question of when did Sunday Keeping begin.

All the forums are telling us that Sunday keeping was in response to a great appreciation for the raising of Christ from the dead. We see absolutely no biblical record of this and we see no mention of this before the death of Christ. The bible doesn’t give a command to institute another day of worship to commemorate the event, but yet we both see and notice that this practice arose AFTER the death of the Testator with no word at all coming out of His mouth condoning or implementing the actions. Contrary to this, the Lord Jesus spoke in Matthew 5 after being questioned for His manner of Sabbath keeping. He stated that till heaven and earth pass not one letter of the law will lose its force. Sunday keeping therefore is not a part of the New Covenant.

We then see that people have misconstrued the writings of Paul in order to tell us that Christians can worship any day that they please. They claim that now, in the New Testament, Christians have Romans 14 where is given them the freedom to choose any day they please, yet, they always arrive on Sunday! When did such a thing--such "freedom" originate? In the New Testament? What about what Christ said in Matthew 5??

For some strange reason, those who are telling us this already showed us that they will not interfere with any pronouncement by the Pope or any action he takes to institute Sunday observance by law. If the Vatican forces Sunday upon the world, this will limit the freedom to choose any day they keep telling us about. Though the Pope boldly supported Sunday observance based upon the Ten Commandments, those telling us they are struggling with us because we are spreading a message that will destroy souls through our "legalism" through giving respect to the Ten Commandments manifest a conspiratorial silence in the face of the Pope’s more bold and celebrated "legalism." Through the Pope’s letter we are able to see what we are facing here. If such people were concerned that Adventists are legalists and have therefore moved upon forums in order to war with them through what they tell us is a concern that heresies are spreading over the Christian world, they would have reacted similarly to the more significant and world famous pronouncement by the Pope in his letter Dies Domini. The total absence of any complaint reveals conclusively that the entire world is not only under a terrible conspiracy, but that even the entire Evangelical world is controlled by people loyal to the Papacy!

Yet again, when did Paul make this new pronouncement in Romans 14? Was it done after the cross? We see that it was. Therefore, according to the misconstrued and perverted words of Paul, the idea that Christians can pick any day for worship is not a part of the New Covenant. Christ made it plain and clear His intentions in Matthew 5 and stated nothing to eclipse that till His death. Those who use Paul to contend this are in error, and the scriptures reveal a warning to those who quote Paul’s writings. No such warning is written against Christ’s writings. Here is a scripture that warns Christians about Paul’s writings:

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. – 2 Pet. 3:15, 16

You may then say, where is the Investigative Judgment and the 2300 days then? The answer is obvious. The book of Daniel was written before the cross. The Adventist distinctives are therefore preserved in the New Covenant and therefore in the Gospel. This also therefore reveals the intent of those who tell us that if something is not proven in the New Testament it is invalid. The Everlasting Covenant was ratified at the very beginning of the New Testament at the death of Christ the Testator, and all things relating to the requirements for salvation and religion have been fixed and remain so forever. This was before Paul hit the Christian scene. The Ten Commandments are valid till the end of time.
